The boxer and his wife, singer Millie
Corretjer, spent $41,000 on their
newborn’s room. Little Nina
Lauren Ninette, daughter of Oscar
De La Hoya and Millie Corretjer, lives
like a queen. According to E! Online,
the boxer of Mexican descent and his
wife spent around $41,000 on their
newborn’s nursery.
The
cradle’s bedding is hand-embroidered
and decorated with little Nina’s
initials, made by British linen manufacturer
Gordonsbury Company. Her Robbie Adrian
blankets are all organic, which means
that the cotton is free of chemicals
that could harm the baby’s skin.
Some
of the luxury items De La Hoya, 34,
and the Puerto Rican singer, 33, purchased
for their baby include an 18-karat,
gold-decorated bonne nuit cradle,
changing table and armoire. The pieces
were ordered from prestigious manufacturer
Art for Kids Furniture, a company
that offers hand-painted, French vintage-style
goods.
The
baby, who was born on Dec. 29, is
De La Hoya’s fourth child and
his second with Corretjer. The boxer
has two kids, 9-year-old Jacob and
8-year-old Atiana, with his ex, U.S.
actress Shanna Moakler. Corretjer
and De La Hoya were married on Oct.
5, 2001, and their first child, Oscar
Gabriel, arrived on Dec. 29, 2005.
