The Grand Opening of Lollypop Friday's got off to a sweet start with the 2007 Bachata Group of the Year, Grupo Optimo.

The night started like any regular Friday everyone always fashionably late and looking their best. Among in attandance were the usual suspects Torontohispano, Torotodominicano and MueveloLive.

This concert was brought to us by the organizers of Lollypop Friday's in association with Sammy Prez from Torontodominicano. The event was full of entertaiment, starting with local talent like Phantasy who put an eye-catching performance. Followed by another local talent that sung some classic vallento and rancheras. Leading to the very impressive performance of Grupo Optimo. Listening to the music and the lyrics one quickly understood why they had won 2007 Bachata Group of the Year. After their performance the group signed autographs and posed for pictures. MueveloLive got the headsup on the possible realsed of their sophomore album possibly named "Unexpeted" suggested by yours truly.
