The
actress, who worked at a
local Wendy’s in her hometown
of Corpus Christi, TX in
the 90s, surprised the fast-food
chain’s customers.
Back in the day when Eva
Longoria Parker wasn’t walking
the streets of Wisteria
Lane, she used to work as
a cashier for a local Wendy’s
in Corpus Christi, TX, and
returned to dish out fries
and hamburgers to benefit
the Dave Thomas and Wendy’s
Wonderful Kids foundations.
The 33-year-old star of
Desperate Housewives (ABC),
chucked glamour to the curbside,
and armed with a headset,
attended customers who came
to see the Mexican-American
beauty demonstrate her humanitarian
side.
The wife of basketball player
Tony Parker surprised more
than a few fast-food-goers
who couldn’t believe they
were being served by Longoria
Parker, who offered up service
with a smile and plenty
of photo-ops with her fans.
According to The Corpus
Christi Caller Times, The
Sentinel star worked at
Wendy’s from 1991 to 1994,
before rising to fame.*
